I think it looks good and you should publish. I share your pain looking for old logos. Took me forever to find the old 63MAW for my USAF tail....found plenty of the recent ones...but the one they used decades ago...was tough!. Did finally find it though.

I see we have Soviet vehicles and of course Wehrmacht Only issue is scenery or making the maps and of course certain planes from the Russian side. Campaigns and scenarios as well. We could use what we already have here at outhouse and update as we go along. We have Yak fighters and some lendlease for the russian side and Germany has a good amount of models.

Has anyone ever thought of doing this front as a mod? Noticed we have some finish planes and German ones that were sent to help Finland against Russia. Is there any interest in this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuation_War

The Spitfire was dropped as a night fighter pretty quickly, mainly due to take off and landing accidents in the dark!

Great Jan Kees, thank you for your nice work! Little Update to my N6539C repaint. I rework the front logo of NOAAs DC-6 by myself from scratch. I wonder, even the Google image search shows no hits. Hmmm. emblem1 by TiAr, auf Flickr If I don't get an answer from the second contact tomorrow, I will publish the repaint with this logo. The text is then just not right. After 1 weeks of logo hunting - enough is enough. Thomas

Check with Steve and John, but I have no problem with it. As for the earlier Spits, what you mentioned is all prior to the Mk.II reaching front line units, so those would all have been Mk.Is. But yes, as I understand it, day fighter squadrons still undertook night sorties as needed through 1940 and maybe into 1941 until a sufficient night fighter force had been built up, though I think it was more common to use Hurricanes for this instead of Spits.

Later on I will send you my SODE folders zipped. You can paste yours onto the desktop which is what I do when I am working and install my two SODE folders in place and then see what happens. I don't blame you for trying another day. I will probably not zip and send until tomorrow. falcon409= :banghead:

I went back and started from scratch. Uninstalled anything related to SODE, downloaded and installed an earlier version (1.6.6) and installed it where the original was installed (ProgramData folder). I put your xml files in the xml folder, the objects in the SimObjects folder. . .the info was installed in the dll.xml file and I was asked to ok the SODE info upon loading the sim. Once in the Sim I checked to be sure SODE was listed in the AddOns drop down (it was) and checked to see that the objects were available. . . .NOPE. It tells me there are no triggerable objects with 6.5nm. I'll go back to SODE at some point but this has been a "Getting nowhere fast" operation thus far. Going to watch some Football!

A training aircraft went down this morning in a residential area in Lake Worth TX, just north of what used to be Carswell AFB. The two pilots ejected, but were reported as injured, and no other injuries reported on the ground. This news conference just ended a few minutes ago as of this typing. Skip ahead to 31 minutes in - the rest is just where the camera was broadcasting live while waiting.
