I have had the one throttle issue in the past. The solution for me was having two control profiles. One uses sets the throttle axis the other throttle one axis

Rome Landmarks by Prealsoft is currently discounted. I don't usually fly with photogrammetry on. Does anyone know if this addon duplicates any of the default Rome POI from WU9? Does it add much (for a non-photogrammetry user)? Any perspectives welcome...

The main thing missing for Gliders in MSFS (beside a slighty refined flight model, I mean) are the thermals. It is already possible, by default, to perform ridge soaring by the wings blowing up along the mountains, and it's quite enjoyable, to be honest. Now, for thermals there's an addon called Kinetic Assistant, but has a freeware version, and brings a basic support for thermals as well as AI plane towing.

Hi, I just saw the problem. The almost empty LOD 97 erases the LOD 100 from a certain distance. It would be necessary to merge these LODS in LOD 100. Can we do it with MCX????? This is a common problem when merging objects. I don't understand where this lod 97 comes from. JMC With MCX, change LOD 97 to LOD 100. That should do the trick. I did this with "generate lods". Try or I'll attach the model.

Honestly I didnt fly on any glider in MSFS, it seems the flight model (with movements of air masses, especially from clouds) is not yet done for gliders but what is good here I see the motor. :biggrin-new:

Hi Chris, Great enthusiasm and screenies... And I'm not trying to stop you, but any chance you could do full screen captures, without the desktop bits? If you fly in windowed mode go to full screen mode and then capture, it will also reduce the jaggies/aliaising you show, giving a much better pic for us to enjoy. Also, I see you're using a laptop, but still you should be able to bump us the screen resolution which will also help with the jaggies/aliasing. There are also some screen capture progs that people use, I'm sure they'll pipe up, that makes it a one button press. Anyway, no major prob or criticism meant ;)

Well there are actually two projects there from Gotfriends, the preimum model Discus 2C which includes a Discus 2C FES (front electric sustainer) and the Phoenix SLSA motorglider........... both due in the next few months.....

Well the worlds looking a lot better with the setting at 32, phew. however the screen displaying aircraft selector is black whatever I do , where am I going wrong? I have square eyes now which at my age aint good! I followed Maxstuka's guide for settings dropping the mode as well. Current settings are Device=NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mode=1024x768x32 Dither=1 Filter=1 TriLinear=1 MipMap=1

Hey Huub, I loaded this into MCX and checked the LODs and then compared them to an aircraft I don't have an issue with. (Manfred's Blackburn Beverly.) The numbers were identical. I tried adjusting the "To LOD" from 40 to 1 and then from 40 to 80. In each case the aircraft in the preview picture turned into an origami disaster. As this is the first time I've ever used MCX I'll gladly accept suggestions. (Reading the manual is already on the to-do list, so suggestions other than that!)

I always enjoy hearing comments from you. I know from my experience talking with veterans WWII and Korea years ago the inaccuracies between recorded history and what actually happened. I am sure you are right. Joe I believe is going by records not recollections. When I had my hobby shop years ago a group of us would get together and swap "war stories" every Saturday morning. Gus was in the Occupation in Germany after WWII; Art was an Army Korean War Vet; Paul was former NSA he would make a comment and then often stop before he said too much LOL; John, Dave and myself were Vietnam Vets. Dave was a "Tunnel Rat" and had a lot of issues he was still counseling about; Jack was a B-52 crew chief and Stan was a retired Air Force BrigGen who started as a ferry pilot at the end of WWII. Yah, I hear you..... I tried watching 'Formula E' a couple of times - but I never did quite understand the energy management/car swap...:dizzy:

I run my PC and MSFS with a resolution of 2688 x 1512 (70% 4K). I take the screenshots using the Xbox Game Bar key command, which saves them as .PNG files. The only thing I do other than taking the screenshots is I re-save them as .JPEG files before uploading them to Flickr. I don't do any post-processing to my screenshots - if the sim isn't looking particularly photogenic while I'm using it, I just don't bother taking/sharing screenshots from those sessions. Here are a few screenshots from some more Italian exploration - with the World Update IX scenery addon installed, there is an amazing amount of photogrammetry when flying from Venice to Padua, and all of the small villages in-between, as well as nearby Cittadella (though it is unfortunately not attached to the Venice/Padua...
