FS2004 British Aircraft Swallow II - Pobjoy engine

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Civilian Props

Description: Built by British Aircraft Manufacturing Co. in the 1930s, the BA Swallow II was a robust and extremely stable aircraft that could be flown slow at 25-30 mph and still be under complete control, being almost impossible to stall. The majority were sold to private owners or flying schools within the United Kingdom. Only a handful are still in flying condition today. The model was once hosted on Classic British Files, but after the site became defunct, it has not been available on any site for over 10 years. Now, with the author's permission, it has been re-uploaded and is available once again. This pack includes the Pobjoy engine version as well as authentic sound files and 8 liveries representing aircraft from the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Very nice! Like its companion, an excellent addition to Golden Wings.

Ahem, not wishing to pour cold water on your chips, but if you had checked library first, it's already here

Hi Pete, my apologies, yes you are correct - and it was you who kindly uploaded the FS9 & FSX versions of the Swallow II earlier. To be fair, though, I have used a "standard" text to upload 3 different aircraft packages to SOH, simviation and flightsim. Unlike the original package uploaded by you, one of them incorporates extra repaints for the FS9 version, as well as authentic sound files by Gary Jones, plus a vcmod file for all packages. I've also uploaded the Cirrus engine version (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...7771&catid=201), which for many years was not on any flight sim site. My intention was not to take away from your good work - I do this for the sim, with respect to the original authors.
