I'm wondering about the CFS2 files. I was hoping to play around with Rhumba's water masks, but they are down, and I have been looking forward to giving Bismark's latest Beaufighter a turn!

This is not a matter of simply restoring a backup....the staff is trying to deal with a major problem of some sort.

A weird thing about the downloads :
I can't dwld the Rhumba's dem8 too,but also some p32win zip ,between some others ,and also ,to test ,the JBbr Truk scenery and that doesn't worked too ,but about this last one before the bug the dwld score was around 295 and now it's 312 that's showing the scenery seem to be downloaded .........some connections work and some other not

That Yakovlev Yak-3 is a Captain Sim payware model. I bought that some time ago. I wish it was multi-lod with breaking parts, but she's still a beaut.

The new files uploaded since the new server was put into service work fine.

Everything has been basically back to normal over at CFS3 for sometime now. It's a shame someone at Staff can't take a minute to let us know what's happening.

I lost my internet connection last night. Whenever I have to reinstall anti-virus it happens. The support guy told me how to fix it next time. It is not a good feeling when you cannot get to SOH. At least you can look at the post, hoping for good news. Come on, boys, you can fix it! Go, team, go!

Sorry chaps,i didnt know this thread was here,been a bit busy.
status at present is that fs2002/2004 and fsx are reinstalled and upto date ,the archive is reinstalled ,the upload routines are all up and running, there are files missing from cfs1,2,3 and il2 which i will start checking and reinstalling this week ,all zip files uploaded to soh were backedup offline so there should be none missing its just a question of sorting them out

I see that the thumnails of a lot of files both FS4 and CFS2 are missing in action. Are they a lost cause?

...ever so slowly, the CFS2 download files are being restored.

The restoration is being done from oldest to newest with regard to the files lost in the server failure.

Some CFS2 Aircraft downloads are now functional (the older postings).
