The 222 is being done by crossram, but haven't heard from him in months, not sure of his health status, was in pretty bad shape last time he called me.

I got the P-47 back in 2008, that's why you can't purchase it anymore sadly.

Did manage to get one of the AH P-47's. A P-47D Bubble Top Canopy version. Nice model for when it came out and a nice cockpit also. The quest continues...

I think I got a little too close to that 'kurier'; I suffered some serious damage there!

Thanks Mick. nice seeing the Defiant getting a bit of use, btw don't forget to lower the fairings for combat!

Thanks Bravo/4, yep the bomb bay toggle for the fairing.

Mastering a workable attack profile isn't easy but it very rewarding when you hear those 4 303s open up.
Ive found that a dive down to the left or right side on a parallel course to your target then when you are alongside pull up while rolling into the target gets the best results, its just a matter of imagining the arc of the turret guns.

Haven't really got a good photo of the maneuver yet with the target in the shot but.....

Yea I used a similar tactic myself, not flown for a long time though, have you tried being the gunner, always found that interesting!
