Thanks Priller. I know to put the model folders into the Community folder. Does the Effects folder go there as well? NC

    Hi Chief,

Normally, in the zip you should find two folders:

    Fokker D.21 1938
    Fokker D.21 1940

Put those two in the community folder. That really is it.

    Cheers,

    Hi Priller,

Yes, I see, but what confused me was the existence of a Effects folder. No problem! NC

Lovely model - love the dutch instruments
Max Snelheide and watch the Hoogte!

NC is right though - there is an Effects folder at the top level of the zip - I think that needs to be copied into each Fokker D.21 19** folder and the layout.json regenerated.

    And a bug report -
the LH side cockpit clickspots only work when the cockpit is open and folded out and the RH side don't work at all (because the RH side cockpit window just slides).

    Cheers,
    Keith

    Lekker zeg .
I'm gonna enjoy this one , thx guys.

Thankyou for this, however I'd recommend changing the post title to say "port" rather than "conversion" as that implies it's been converted to native MSFS GLTF format which isn't the case.

That is confusing... Why would Daan include the effects folder if we weren't to use it? But it's not packaged.

That's exactly what I did, but I couldn't see any blue flames running the engine up at night. My guess is those particular effects are not supported in this MSFS.

    Hi all,

Let me explain some things. Priller converted (or ported over of whatever) the original files. Those worked fine for him and he offered them to me to distribute. Something I'm very grateful for!
When I looked into the converted files, I only missed the documents and the effects. Well, I thought, let me just include the effects in case they work just as in FSX. That, evidently, was a misconception.
Anyway, I guess it won't harm if they are present, would it?

Thanks guys for using this addon, enjoy it!

    Regards,

    Daan

    Alex, what a wonderful screenshots!

Keith, you mean the canopy and window clickspots? Unfortunately, I can't help you on this, since I don't have MSFS2020 myself. Probably in the future, but first get to finish that T.5 bomber. And then I may need a new rig.

Oooooh, I love this! OK, it's a port-over, so some things don't work (couldn't shut her down), but it feels great to go HuBoBe over the Netherlands with this..

and maybe the shine is a bit too much, but I still love it!
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

Jankees - you can shut her down (and restart ) if you fold the LD door/canopy open - this unmasks all the engine controls for mousing.
Basically do all pre and post flight with the lid off.
Only concern is that if you run out of fuel mid flight you have to open the canopy to select the reserve fuel

Dutcheeseblend - no worries, though maybe you can throw light on the clickspot masking - on imports there are always one or two clickspots that cover the whole screen and sometimes mask the spots beneath. In this case its the Window sliders and door/canopy open - are they the first/last defined? Are they in some way different to all the others?

    Thanks
    Keith
