Carenado and Alabeo addons in v3.1 success or failures

Ive been trying out several models to see if they work in P3D

I havent used any migration tools, just installed into P3D directory

    Working
    C- Navajo
    C- H850XP
    C- Phenom 100 & 300
    C- F406 Caravan II
    C- S550 Citation
    C- B200
    C- Seneca V
    C- Centurion T210
    C- PC 12
    C- CT206H Station air
    A- Tomahawk
    A- C404 Titan
    A- C207 Skywagon
    A- C195 Business Liner
    A- R66 Turbine
    A- Extra 300
    C- A36 Bonanza

    Not Working:
    A- C172RG Cutlass
    A- C177 Cardinal
    A- Piper Sport

There is still about 1/2 dozen left to try, unfortunately my downloaded accelerator has used up all my available downloads so I cant see if there are new versions for the not working models, and Im stuck with the P3D v2.4 installers

Has anyone else had success or failures

Alabeo D17 Staggerwing / WACO YMF5 installed straight in and working perfectly in 3.1
Carenado Cherokee, 172II N and T-34 Mentor installed with the migration tool, again working perfectly.

All my Carenado/Alebao and A2A aircraft work fine in P3D V3.1.

    Cheers

All of my Alabeo and Carenado aircraft work fine in P3D 3.1 as well. I fly the Cardinal a lot. I have all of them installed outside of the root folder.

The A- C177 Cardinal works fine for me in V3.

IIRC all I did was copy and paste to V3.

Many may fly and some are rewarded

than flying. It is dearly bought, requires
sacrifice to keep and represents a way of life.

I tried the 195 with the installer pointed at the P3DV3.1 directory
    Nothing showed up
    Any ideas?

The C177 Cardinal. Seneca V, C195 Businessliner, Centurion C210, C185 bushplane and the C90 GTX all work fine for me in 3.1.

As far as installing them outside of the root folder, I mean just that. I have folders created for Alabeo, Carenado and others outside of the P3D root folder. Inside those folders are folders named for each aircraft. Inside those folders are the effects, gauges, simobjects, sound and any other directories provided by the aircraft designer. I then modified the cfg files located in C:\ Program Data\ Lockheed Martin\ Prepar3D v3. Once the cfgs are modified to point to the Alabeo, Carenado, etc... folders that I created, the aircraft show up in the sim with complete functionality. I had done this in 3.0 and upgraded to 3.1 without any loss of aircraft functionality. This is the way LM designed aircraft to be added to the sim in version 3. In fact the RealAir v3 aircraft (Legacy and the Turbine Duke) install this way automatically. I have both of those and they installed perfectly outside the main P3Dv3 directory.

    Hello Chaps,

I have manually installed the Carenado C-185 but the nav/strobe lights do not work?

Any ideas to get it to work please?

    Cheers,
    Tim..
