Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat Glenview Reserves 1946.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - American

Description: A skin for Allen's rebuilt version of the B24 Guy's overhauled CFS-2 Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat (Late) in the livery of the Naval Air Reserve fighter squadrons at NAS Glenview, Illinois in 1946. This Hellcat wears the immediate post-war Reserve livery with all markings in orange and no fuselage insignia. The tail code V denoted the base, Glenview. Classic-era Reserve bases often hosted several squadrons of each type, and the planes were drawn from a common pool, so there were no squadron insignia or markings. This skin was inspired by a photo found on the web.

    Good morning,

Mick usually makes skins for FS9, but he did an outstanding job on these. Thanks for your work, Mick!
