    Hello Dave. Which one's are the new paints? I did not notice any new paints? Or is the "Extra paint" package needed to be re-downloaded too?

    Cheers,
    Tim.

    A mistake in a version of the base pack installer meant that a lucky few customers got access to the livery pack without purchasing it. Unfortunately for the rest of you that has now been fixed

    Opps! I do have the addon pack anyway as I had pre-ordered the Dove, but hadn't downloaded the updated version.

    Well that means by international flight sim law, you have to offer the livery pack for free to everyone else.
    Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

    As long as I understand this thread and it's fellow "special repainter's", all the free repaints uploaded so far will not fit with this update...

    Right ?

    Right ?
    No, they seem to fit fine, but I haven't checked every tiny detail.

    add a texture CFG to your texture.Apache folder

    [fltsim]

    fallback.1=..\texture
    fallback.2=..\texture.SAAT_MOD
    fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
    fallback.4=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\textur e

    I named the SAAT_MOD because I want the Modern Cockpit
    It should do the trick untill monk takes a look...

    We think along similar lines

    I checked the texture file for a cfg and there was none so I added these:

    [fltsim]
    fallback.1=..\texture
    fallback.2=..\texture.SAAT
    fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
    fallback.4=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\textur e

    I prefer the old style panel

    Sorry if anything went amiss with the textures. I haven't uploaded any work in eons. The instructions stated to copy all files from the texture.SAAT into the texture.Apache folder without overwriting anything in that folder. That should have provided all the remaining textures along with the texture.cfg. I didn't feel comfortable uploading default payware textures so the texture.Apache folder only contains the textures I did. Thus the copying routine. Different panels can of course be accomplished as mentioned above.

    Need some help. Regardless of what I am painting I cannot fix this problem. Need someone to point me in the right direction to the correct template.

    Pat, both these areas are located on the Dove_ExteriorD_t texture. I have noted on the attached screenshots where they are. Beware that the texture mapping for the Dove 8 underside rear differs from the earlier Doves, as I found out when transferring the Hawker Siddeley scheme from G-ANMJ to Dove 8 G-ARHW! Hope this helps.

    Thanks Peter that is very helpful. But I notice from your screenshots that your paintkit is different to the one that came with the Dove package. Or is it the paint programme you use?

    Cheers
    Pat
