    Coming to FSX S-2A Tracker

Heres a preview of the FSX conversion for Milton's Grumman S-2A Tracker. Working on brand new exterior textures then I will move inside on the VC.

I really regret turning down a chance to ride in a S-2 once at Pax in the early 70s. Am looking forward to this one! NC

I miss the radials as well. Not too much of a fan of the turbo trackers but thats all we have now so.... haha. The first Trackers were green and ill be adding one of those to the release package when I finish up.

Hopefully, there will be some US Navy paints of this model.

CDF also operates out of Ramona airport in So Cal so this will be a great addon to go with the new FTX release.
heres hoping FTX will offer a super detailed Ramona addon down the road

just a question/request?..would it be possible to do Joe "Hoser" Satrapa's T-89 out of Grass Valley?

  16. #16
There is a FSX S2F-1 (Navy version) already available in the library here.

Yeah I'm hoping Orbx will do Hemet or Ramona for their SoCal scenery.

Hoser flies 89 which is the S2T. If all goes well with this version I'll work on converting the T model.

but wasnt Hoser flying t-89 before the change to the S2T?..i thought he was..i might be wrong...i usually am...just ask my dad................

I looked in the library for FSX S2F-1 and it did not find one/any. Is this a FSX version?

Hmm I can't recall seeing the 89 number on an A model. I'll have to go through my records.

It's in there. I'll link you when I get home.

Exterior textures pretty much wrapped up. Taking off on a road trip today to get inside the real aircraft and get some interior shots so I can start on the VC.

Looking very good! Can't wait to see the interior progress!

Great stuff Tankerguy. The Tracker was a big part of the CDF facilities at KRDD (Redding, CA). Definitely will add this beauty to the Redding landscape.

Are you referring me to this one that states:

Grumman S2Turbo Military Version for FSX (FS9 Portover) (S2T-MIL)

This is NOT NATIVE FSX <<<<< This is their comment.

by Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, Tom Fliger, Nigel Richards, Rachel Whiteford, Dave Stewart and Jan Visser with help from SOH members.

This Grumman Tracker S2T(urbo), Marsh Conversion for Military use, setup as an FSX Portover.

So, I am still looking for a native Tracker I guess........(not a portover)

It looks like you are making a Native FSX Fire Fighter S2F.

    Thanks anyway.

    Thanks anyway.
