    "Mark One Formation"

Here are some screenshots from a formation flight out of Duxford, featuring the Mk.I Blenheim L6739 and the Mk.I Spitfires P9374 and N3200 - all which were restored by the Aircraft Restoration Company (ARCo) at Duxford. All three of these specific aircraft were flown in formation together at the Duxford VE-Day Airshow back in May. The aircraft featured are the Virtavia Blenheim with a repaint by Dave Garwood and the A2A Spitfire with repaints by Steve "BladeRunner900" Landau (http://www.bladerunner900.co.uk/bin/...aspitfire2.htm). Scenery is ORBX England and of course ACG's Duxford.

I hope you enjoy the shots!

Only thing missing from the Blenheim is the nightfighter gun pack under the belly, which the real aircraft flew with at Flying Legends in July. I can't blame you for that, though! She was a fine sight in reality, thanks for the reminder!

Still more fun combinations to recreate... ; )

You may try giving DaveWG a shout, as he never released the Blenheim repaint, but he was gracious enough to send me a copy when I asked him about it. If Dave no longer has the repaint (note the date of the original thread posting), I still do, and I wouldn't mind passing it along if that is alright with Dave.

(BTW, since the time I made this thread, the Spitfire P9374 was sold, and it is now based in New York, at the Brookhaven Airport. The aircraft is now registered N92SQ, and flew for the first time in the US back on June 26th. It is now owned by Ronald Lauder, heir to the Estee Lauder fortunate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Lauder (he also recently purchased a Corsair, the former "Skyboss", which is now flying as "Godspeed", a tribute to John Glenn's service) - obviously he does not fly the aircraft himself, and has qualified/experienced warbird pilots doing so.)
