Just like to say my Dad was at Moody in WW2 under the Arnold scheme. They must have taught him well over there because he became an Instructor for about a year before going back to the UK.

The weather turned nasty at YMML while I was doing this one....
    ...but in the rain....

I'll need to research its 'cn', etc so I can upload...

    Edit....and fix that spinner...hadn't noticed.

  5. #130
    Here's the 'before and after'....
    The original clean-ish '32', and the dirty/faded '49'

I'll upload the latter presently [found its CN] ...

    Same time/place/light/weather...

Very Nice Paints for Piglet's Excellent Tucano!

Jafo...Thanks. A reinstall of the A-29 and I wonder why I buy? Piglet did some excellent work. A picture of me on final to 04 at KMSP with the Mall of America in the background.

P.S. It was getting on toward evening. Like we used to say at Northwest Airlines..."It's cold and it's dark, but it's ours!"

    Cool screenshot...
Yes, Tim's stuff is always great...I'd also extensively repainted for his A12A Avenger II ...although that was a 'what-if' aircraft itself so I kinda had a free hand with painting it...

    Thank you, Thank you,
YMML? I think I'll have some problem to pay you a dinner if you live there! My location is LIME ( usually
    Runway 12/30).

Yep...YMML is just 'up the road a bit'....I spent a lot of time living under the East-West runway approach.

FAB-5949 - cn: 31400084 - Weathered, Faded and Dirty. Forca Aerea Brasileira 2010 has been uploaded here...

Makes up for that comparatively clean one....

Jafo, you have done a great job on these skins and have rejuvenated this plane for me. Thanks! Final for KLVN 30 (over MN farmland).
