Someone suggested that there was a file that I needed to deleate but I couldn't find said file. In the end I had to do a complete re-install of the sim to fix it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just did a straight up install with Migration Tool. Let me install the B-52 and see if I get the crash. I know that P3D has always been extremely sensitive and will crash at the drop of a hat, but if I can isolate something I'll be sure to post that up.

The B52 ( & some other CS aircraft) write some additional data to the default situation save file when you exit P3d. When you next start P3d, it's can't read the data & crashes. I believe the migration tool can fix this automatically, or there is a stand-alone tool you can use. Alternatively, you can manually edit the file, but it will need to be done after every time you use the aircraft.

Thanks for your help guys. It looks like doing it manually will be a bit of a pain!

Ported my FSX Lockheed A-12 Cygnus test model to Prepar3d to see how it looks, everything about P3D says 'future'.

It would be great to see the High Rollers in their RF-4C Phantoms before the days of Fat Albert!

Yeah...definitely on my punch list. I've been down the rabbit hole with the scenery design, but will get to the Phantom and Fat Albert skins.

I did more research and finally found the thread that discusses this aircraft. Interesting aircraft for sure.
