Wooohoo! Many thanks for the head-up!

[Edit: aaahrghh, Global Vector is not part of the update. They paired the update with LC Europe. Why did they do that. ]

    Cheers,

The FlightSim Store must be getting hammered . It takes a long time to even sign in then access your account . I still havn't been able to get into my download page . Luckily I was able to download the FTX Global Base and install it this morning . I'm in the Eastern Standard Time zone so maybe I'll try some other time in the day or night . Enjoying P3D v3 .

I too was looking forward to this but I've had to put V3 on hold until LM sort out the joystick axes problems which seem to be a general issue. I note that Pete Dowson has put a sticky on his FSUIPC site regarding this.

Interesting... I hadn't heard about these. I haven't experienced any issues myself. Could you elaborate?

    Many thanks

    Hi Andy
I'm using a Wingman Strike Force 3D joystick that I've had for years. It works perfectly in FSX and Prepar3d v 2.5. However Prepar3D v3 seems to have inherent problems with assigning axes to some joysticks and indeed FSUIPC is also struggling.
Depending on which joystick you use some people are finding some or all axes impossible to calibrate while others seem to have no difficulty. My joystick despite being recognised by Prepar3D V3 and FSUIPC is impossible to calibrate, hence flight controls are either slow or erratic. I understand that LM and Pete Dowson are trying to resolve this. In the meantime V3 is useless for me.
    Mike
