    Hey DV...

Are you working on any other ACs?

Looking for a good F105 and F104 to match what we have. Tango did some work on the F104. Its at SimV.

Also need a Harrier. Again there is one at SimV to look at.

I think they will all need a little work to update them.

What other Aircraft are we missing?

    John,
I am not really sure what you are looking for with the Helo props,
But Martin has Props for AI helicopters on his site:
    http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/

Not sure if that helps, they are in the CFS2 Extras section.

    Allen,

    I'll give that a try.

    Dave,

got them. I'll look them over. Warning: Time for some Greek lessons... I don't need the full animation as I have to use the "Tick18" for it to be turning on the BGL model. I'm not able to use the normal animation method like you would for a MDL model. but they might help.

Site updates to all developers and others that are following the Project:

The project has become so large and with so much participation I have
had to Divide and add more pages.

The Project page 1 has all the required downloads and add on scenery:
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Vietnam_Projects.htm

The Project Page 2 now has the AI Aircraft and Library Objects for mission
    writers and GSL scenery designers:
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Vietnam_Projects_2.htm

We have 2 aircraft and helicopter pages:
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Aircraft_CFS2_7.htm
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Aircraft_CFS2_8.htm

    A screen shot section:
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Vie...en%20shots.htm

    And a New Developers Page:
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Dev...20Projects.htm

We have not lost anything and the counters are still in place.

Sorry if this complicates anything for you, But I really had no choice.

Could use a little help on this one:

    Cessna O-2 Skymaster Project:
This should be a fun one.
I have run it thru MDLC and hexed the code to show the exterior views
I can work on the panel and adjust the eyepoints ect.
I have a new sound file for it
Maybe a new coat of paint maybe not
Will need a Dp file for sure, it already has the hardpoint mounts under the wings
O-2A Version designed for use in forward air control missions, features ordnance hard points underneath the wings to hold rockets, gun pods or flares. 513 were delivered

And any other suggestions or improvements

    Well Sir,

You will notice on the history I found on Lima 85, they were just painted green.
But on the Torpedo version, they had no mention of color. I leave that to you sir.

    Dave,
Good enough. On your picture it shows tail numbers. I'll do that and call it a day. If something else comes up, putting markings on will be no problem. Give me a few days and you'll have the textures. Glad to help out in any way I can. I may have another Bird Dog texture you can also use. Just have to find it.

    Dave,
Found some time today and finished these up. I highlighted some things so it doesn't look so monochrome. Hopefully, I'll get it zipped up and emailed to you tomorrow. Still haven't found the Bird Dog. Thanks for letting me contribute to this project in my small way. If I can help, in any way going forward, don't hesitate to ask.
    Cheers,

Pee..ing in my pants, those are great. I see New Jersey, I Lived in Toms River and my Company was in Spring Lake Heights for 8 years,
My dad got ill in '95 so I moved it all back home to Biloxi to care for my mother, who till this day still mows her own yard.
I would have her replace my yard man but then , I could not ever live down the neighbors saying " Look, Dave's mom is mowing his yard"
I say " I was lucky and was able to purchase a home only three houses down from hers."
But all in fun, I sometimes wish it was a bit farther than she can walk, gotta luv her though.

    Thanks again,

Work on the S-2/C-1 is going slower than a snail in a salt maze...

So is the new model working for you? Other wise you're looking at a complete build. That would mean a VC and everything. Unless parts can be saved or used from other models.

You can probably save some polys with a new pilot. Sid might work. We can get perms to use it.

Next your props modified to the more modern design. Didn't you do a Grumman already? You could use the parts off of the Albatross as it had the same size engine. Maybe a few other bits. Pssibly even from the C-47.

    S-2 Trader:
    Powerplant: 2 × Wright R-1820-82WA radial engines, 1,525 hp (1,137 kW) each

    HU-16 Albatross
    Powerplant: 2 × Wright R-1820-76 Cyclone 9 nine-cylinder single-row air-cooled radial engine, 1,425 hp (1,063 kW) each

I noticed that it has a wierd wing fold. They kinda just flop over. looks like its just after the wing root.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumman_S-2_Tracker

The E-1 probably folds like the Avenger.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumman_E-1_Tracer

Which in the pics here it does.
