So... I've been working on the new tracks. Well I noticed an error on my part. the model's transparency needed to be corrected. Otherwise you get shadows from it. It's an easy fix.

I'll try to finish that up tonite. I'm also reworking the damage model. Only the short sections of the strait and curved track will be damageable. CFS2 will put enough craters on the ground.

I'm thinking of doing some track switches. I'll have to do all of the textures. thats the biggest pain.

Back to work on the S-2. Set 3 pylons per wing and wing dome change to a US style. MAD boom and under side dome extends with the spoiler key.

    Sir,
Sorry to hear about your loss and that your trip to New Jersey will be a sad one. If you're in these parts under more pleasant circumstances, look me up and I'll treat you to a "cold one".
    My condolences,

    Dave,

I hope you had a safe trip. Atleast the weather was nice for most of it. I pray the rest of the family is well.

So, while you've been away, I've been working on the static CH-47s. So far all of the models are finished. Though I might make a couple more with different cargo slings. I'm not sure yet. They are reworked models of Al's APIs. I've made new rotors for both the non moving and the moving versions. I'll post some screen shots once they are in game. I hope to have them ready before you get back.

I think we can use the MK 46 off of the Seaking. I thing that will save a little work. I'll have to look into the rest. I'm closing on my house on friday. I'll be in and out for then next three.

3 days? Will work on the C-1 I guess. I think all I need to do is pull of the wing dome, pylons and tubes in the engine nacelles.

    Allen,

I think the tubes were left in. If you want to save some polys you can just cap it off.

I'm almost done with the CH-47s. I have seven different versions. I think I went a little crazy again. At any rate, I have to do the mdlnames and descript.dat. Then test them. Hopefully I animated the rotors correctly.

    Allen,

I'm doing the animations for my static CH-47s. They have the 'Tick18" prefix. How do I set it up so that I can have two of them?

    Would "Tick18_01" work?

As of now I only have one set turning.

From what I remember Tick18 is a prefix so you should be able to name your rotors on you CH-47s Tick18_Front and Tick18_Back and give both an animation...

Yup I got it. I used Tick18_R1 for the front and Tick18_R2 for the rear.

The CH-47 models are finished. I may do a heavy lifter group later on.

I wish we had other sound that we could use for ground vehicles. I hate the track sounds.
