    FSX Hunting Percival Pembroke released!

I am in the process of collaborating with Rob Richardson on painting his upcoming Pembroke. I could not resist painting the CAFU scheme, which will go with the JF / AH Chipmunk and DH125 paints. I will also do this scheme for the JF / AH Dove if it ever gets released!
Lots of schemes for the Pembroke both Civil and Military!

Pretty aircraft, and sharp looking model and paint job!

This will definitely put my old VC-less FS9 portover on permanent vacation.

I've always thought it looked a little odd.. probably the reason I like it!

Popped inside one parked up at Coventry a while back and was surprised at just how small the flightdeck is. The knuckles on my left hand touched the bulkhead when holding the yoke!!! The sound of these is similar in many ways to the little Wildcat.. a sharp, slappy sound off the props. I'm sure Rob will do a good job.. he always does

Good news, Peter. The silence was beginning to make me wonder if you were ok.
Rats - why won't anything work properly first time?

My kind of aeroplane. Was lucky enough to fly P2 in an example in the UK last year.

Hehe, can't resist, here's a Luftwaffe Pembroke (funny name) that crossed my way in Nordholz / Germany. The writing says "Don't Push".

A tad capricious, the old lady, he?

Thanks for the heads-up, I just grabbed it and it's up to Rob's usual standards.

The prop alphas are from Dave Garwood's Mossie props.

    Great screenshots Roger!
    But the prop discs................
The only time you see the strobe effect is when a prop is turning very slowly or on an old Tom Mix movie when the stagecoach comes into town!
Having studied the subject I have included three different textures for the Pembroke prop, one for just the blades, one for prop slow with strobe and one for prop blurred with no strobe.
I think this is the most realistic but I do understand your point of view, Microsoft always use the effect on all their props.

What a gem of a model! Looks good, flies good, sounds good. This is a perfect model for flying around local/state small airfields. Am eagerly awaiting more repaints for this bird.

    Thanks Rob!

Great job on the Pembroke Rob! It's funny that even at my age, I've seen far more props at the cinema or on tv than in real life and hence preferring the strobe effect.

Let me join the chorus and say thank you Rob, I love the Pembroke!

In P3D v3 it triggers a couple of "content errors", but you will undoubtedly have noticed those yourself. If I recall correctly, 3 missing textures, and it doesn't like the "file=" entries in the VCockpit sections of panel.cfg. I hacked a bit here and there and got rid of the errors.

Going to attempt a Danish air force paint when I get the time for it.
