Even though I don't have this aircraft, the textures look amazing.

Yeah, Rick, thought you were through with the shiny stuff before! Now I have to get that sexy blow torch beast out of the hangar, get re-rated again and remember what landing at 200+ knts is like. Thanks man!!
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

A steal if it's on sale. A great Cold War airplane.

id you haven't got it, go get it.

I was thinking of buying the B58, too. Then I read that it is an old Alphasim model just sold by glowing heat. Is the plane worth it? It costs about 25 box

  14. #14
It's been exported as a native fsx model. Yes it is showing it's aGE a bit but honestly it's a fun plane and challenging to fly. II'm going to redo the VC textures at some point as well. IMO it's worth it. I paid more as well...still worth it.

    Ah.. now that sounds interesting

I flew the 59-2440 V3 texture from Upper Heyford to Lossiemouth today in FSX and thoroughly enjoyed it.. right up until I stalled before reaching the runway at Lossie Ah well.. It was great while it lasted and absolutely no blame on the V3 textures. I know you make them for P3D but they're great in FSX too mate

Glowing Heat was/is the original modeler of the B-58 and SR-71 sold by Alphasim. The models have been updated and made FSX Native. They are definitely worth it.

Not sure what I got wrong here. Have the Banana Bob envmap thing but thought you use that Rick as well and your v2 paints looked much more normal. This looks a bit too hot.
