Welcome to the "darker" side
P3D is not flawless and has its bad sides, but overall you can get an enjoyable experience much quicker than with FSX.
Plenty of feedback here and there, you'll have a lot to read

I did too. Just installed today and got my TrackIR working and TacPack installed.
Going through threads trying to figure out which aircraft & helos make the transition with ease.

Now I'm just waiting for Air Hauler 2 to be released so I'll have something to do other than random flights around the world. Highly recommend getting FTX Global for more enjoyable textures, too.
Expect banging, belching and an occasional manly fart as you roar down the runway at full power. (I have found that the engine can make similar noises)

I've got most of my Payware aircraft working in p3d2.5. Including all my A2A warbirds, Realair Legacy and Duke. Warbirdsim mustangs VS F9F F8F and f6f, Glowing heat B58, all my alabeo and carenado, Flight replicas Bf109K just to name a few.
