spammer domain to block

For over 1 month I have noticed a lot of spam coming into the server, and I block it, lol
like 1300 a day.

After looking at this closely I noticed most all ended in .science (like .com, .net)
I also found out anyone can get one of these names for free for 1 year.
(give a thief a gun and it will be used to rob)

Anyway I have done a complete block of the .science from delivering mail to this server, lol
on a Linux/Unix Server it is simple to block the name
like this:

What if someone wanted to take advantage of the free year with the domain but for legitimate and benign purposes?

as for me and this server, if someone lajet has a .science name ...... then they cannot email me, lol using it, they will have to get a gmail/hotmail address.
right now all I see is spam email using it.

Ickie, I have not read up on it I was just curious. Is the entire domain setup for spammers and hackers? You would think with .science as a domain it would have people like Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye the Science Guy using it. I will investigate the domain when I get a chance. In the mean time I will defer to your better judgment. Keep up the good work keeping us safe. Your loyal supporter PD.

It is a shame they let a good name go down the toilet, I too at first thought it was a legit name but after seeing hundreds a day and when i looked at it closely, all I seen was rip off's deals, all using a different ... name.science
anyway it was easy to block, lol
