Wow Ferry to be honest, I had never heard of this event. But looking at this (beautiful) pictures I think it really was worth the drive!

Thanks Huub, I first heard about this show two years ago, and again just two weeks ago. I waited for the weather forecast to decide, so I bought a ticket just last night. Well worth the drive, with all these warbirds comnig over from Duxford!

So we had three Spitfires, three Mustangs, one Hurricane, One Corsair, a Catalina, six Stearmans, two Tiger moths, three Yak-52's, three Piaggio FW-149's, four Fokker S.11's, Two Harvards.... Quite the collection for a small grass field somewhere in a far corner of our tiny country!

To somewhat echo off EasyEd, I just got my first paid gig this year - hope you do too!

Not getting paid for it (I think), as it is a relatively small magazine run mostly by volunteers. I hope it is a good way to become a regular contributor, and possibly it opens up new opportunities for me.
For now I'm just doing this for the love of aviation and photography. :-)
