Cheers.. paid for and downloading now

Fingers crossed Peter Watkins is close behind. I'm hoping he'll fill the internet with 'G' repaints for it

Would have downloaded by now but do not have and do not want a PayPal account. The transaction forces this on me! Guess I will have to wait.
Take 2 - managed to talk my wife into using her PayPal account! Have now downloaded. Been looking forward to this!

That's a shame Peter. I've used it for years now without issue.

Yikes!! You had me scared then Peter

Like Roger, I've used PayPal for years.. in fact, I'd rather use PayPal than any other form of payment for online transactions.. mainly because the seller never ends up with my bank details so I only ever have one 'area' to blame should something go wrong! Thankfully.. nothing has ever gone wrong with PayPal (for me) though I'm sure someone will pipe up and say what garbage and untrustworthy folk they are. Such is the beast

Glad you've got the SV-4B anyway. It's quite delightful to fly and very pleasing on the eye

Purchasers won't be disappointed. It is a beautiful plane to look at but is a delight to fly.

Purchased and downloaded late last night. Installed quick n' easy (devs: installer has a few pages that say 'Travel Air' instead of Stampe), and was up and flying in no time flat.

Very well done, GAS. I spent a very enjoyable couple of hours bombing about in it around KTNP / KPSP. More responsive with a bit more pep than I expected; my take off rolls were not really a highlight of graceful handling, I'll say that much!

    Anyhow, very, very pleased!

Bought it yesterday via this thread. Registration needs to go under the port wing for the British registered examples.

Paul (spad54) is having issues replying to this thread. I've posted the issue and hopefully it will be resolved shortly.

    Patch!!

    From Paul:

    Stampe Patch
One of our community reached out to me about the a minor detail in the shaping of the nose and included this photo. He rightly pointed out that ours looks bulbous. I went back and had to agree with him (see the before and after below) So I gave our girl a "nose job" and created a patch which more accurately reflects the aircraft's nose. Folks purchasing the model after the timing of this post will not require the patch as the product has been updated as well as the FSX installer reflected the models designation and not the Travel Air as point out in the sticky thread. Thanks Steve!

Dave the post you saw was made in a separate thread.

    http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...0-Stampe-Patch

As Roger said, for an unknown reason spad54 is not able to post anything in this thread. As it seems better to keep all information in one place, Roger copied the original post, which spad54 made in the other thread, in this thread.

So you there is nothing wrong with you. (well at least as far as I know...... )

    Cheers,
    Huub

    Cheers Huub

As I said.. when I came in from work, I popped the PC on and had a quick read.. noted the Stampe patch then did what you do when you come back from work.. said hello to everyone then got changed!!gggg Came back a wee bit later and could I find that thread.. NO I thought I'd lost the plot and sadly.. it looks like I had!! Thank goodness someone is on the ball

EDIT: I note there's something trying to load on the bottom of Rogers thread.. an image perhaps. Since I've seen Rogers reply, that 'whatever it is' hasn't loaded.

Dave that was a loading animation that came across with my transplant. I've just deleted the anim because it was getting on my nerves every time I opened the thread

    Patch 2

    Again from Paul:

    Stampe Patch #2
This patch reconfigures the emmpenage as designed and the faring as well. Thanks to Martin for pointing that out and for all the kind constructive observations. I think it's made the project better as a result. In gratitude we keep the discounted offer active until June 5. Here is the patch. Same link as before with updated content. With any luck. Its done. (I'm still not able to update my initial post so Roger please move link to sticky) If purchasing the model after 9 pm EDT today the patch will not be required as the updated will be in place by then

Do I have to use the two patches? or is the second one al all in one?

    Cees

Btw: I would have preferred somewhat more rounded gauge bezels. JMHO.
