    I want your opinion

What A2a acusim airplane do you recommend the most out of the p-51, p-47, p-40 and spitfire?

For me the Spitfire wins hands down with the P-40 a close second.

You'll probably get a different opinion with each reply :-)

For me, it's the P-47, followed by the P-40. Both aircraft feel very authentic. Expecially the P47, which is not so easy to fly, but huge fun once learned. The best (IMHO) is that you can take the original flight manuals and work the aircraft right according to these, I think that's pretty amazing.

I can't compare the Spit, I don't have it as it is not so much my cup of tea.

It depends on what kind of flights you want to do.
I use all of the planes you mentioned. Each of them has its advantages.
The P-47 suffers from his lack of maintenance hangar, but the plane is more challenging to fly than the others.
The Spitfire is the simplest/easiest one: more light, more forgiving, much MUCH slower on landing etc... and still allows some high altitude flights. The choice of props and the two different starting methods (cartridge or electric starter) make it very interesting and the sounds are just magnificient.
The P-51 is, for me, the most beautifull one and also the most "complete" of the A2A warbirds. The engine management is great, the amount of available repaints is fantastic, you can add some external tanks for really long range, and it's a bit challenging to fly both for the takeoff and landing.
The P-40 is kind of the perfect mix between the P-51 and the P-47: it has the same inertial starter as the P-47, but with a much improved handling/behavior. It has excellent engine sounds like the P-51 and the specific hydraulic system (you have first to choose an "action" (gear up/down or flaps up/down) then activate (and maintain) the pump until that action is fully performed. This is quite challenging during takeoffs and approaches.

Overall, the P-47 is still the one I fly the most, though, despite its lack of maintenance hangar (it a "all or nothing" repair when you break anything). I can't exactely explain why, I just get the most pleasure out of it. I love pushing this turbo when I want to climb at high altitudes, I love the heavy attitude on takeoff with full tanks (including the additionnal ones), I love that "high approach then dive on the runway threshold" landing style, etc... I just wish A2A would finally bring it up to at least their B-17 standard, instead of building flying Toyota Prius...
