    O/t fsx

Late for the party as usual I've just got FSX (via Steam at £7.50 through an Ebay seller) and am pretty impressed on how well it runs on this ancient pc.

However I can't bring myself to fly those boring Cessnas so bought the JF Hurricane - what a beauty!

I may be gone some time.....

The JF Hurricane is indeed a beauty. But wait till you try out more modern addons in a more modern sim that is called Prepar 3D!!!

If you haven't already Clive, you might like the IWM Duxford scenery too. It's present-day rather than wartime but is free.

RealAir also has a quite lovely Spitfire Mk.IX and A2A has a wonderfully done Spitfire Mk.Ia

I have both and enjoy them both equally.

    Enjoy FSX!

Also very hot off the press, see these comments on another FSX warbird equipped with TacPack.

I wouldn't want fsx as a combat sim anyway, the scenery is wrong for my 1940's taste. There's no substitute yet for CFS3 in that respect. I am working on upgrading the old PD Hurricane model though.

Gee that Hurri looks good, Clive. Have FSX for awhile but never looked as good! The scenery an extra? Can't do without shooting for long: always an air test first up.....any excuse!

It's RAF Marham Ian, comes from this site:

    All freeware and excellent models!

The JF hurricane does have guns that fire, although it's not quite the same without a burning HE111 on the naughty end of them!
