vonoben 7 Season Scenery for cfs3 ETO 1.4

I added this mod to my 1.5 version; it works well except for one type of airfield that does not get snowed in. the airfield are the airbase,single,2,...., all have the same problem when winter is selected.
How can I fix this and get it working properly?

Same airbase but with winter medium snow. The following airbase all have the same problem:Innsbrueck,Salzburg,Tahure-Suippes,Le Havre-Octeville,Calais-Marck,Etampe-Mondesir,Mourmelon,Beziers-Bias,Deauville-St gatien,Le Mans-Arnage,Lons-le-Saunier Courlaoux,Castelsarrasin-Moissac,Montbeliuard-Voujeaucourt,Montlucon-Domerat,Nevers-Fouchambault,Perpignan-La Salanque,Saumur-St Florent,Strasbourg-Neuhof,Valenc-Chabeuil,Vitry-le-Francois la Perthe,Cognac-Chateaubernard,Epinal-Dogneville,Nancy-Azelot,Rennes-St Jacques,St Dizier-Robinson,St-Etienne Boutheon,St-Omer Wizernes,Salon-Eyguires,Tours St-Symphorien,Beaumont-le-Roger and Mucha Lucha.

Hi Daniel, I suspect that either there is no 'w' texture for that airbase or the .mos file is calling up the wrong one.
I don't have that mod installed at the moment so can't check.

Try a search for the texture airbase_single_2.dds and see what other files there are in the folder where it resides.

How can one prevent the attached file picture from showing up twice?

I checked the required .mos file and the asset folder; the mos file calls for the proper .dds files wich have been added to the game by WMscenery.exe and these files are the only ones in the game when started.
But for some reason only the a_airbase_single_2_outline.dds gets read not the a_airbase_single_2_dirt.dds who as the winter texture.
This is not the case with other .mos file wich are similar to this one but with different airbases in these the xxx_dirt.dds gets read.

Wich file calls the different .mos files for a specific season?
It seems that the airbase_single_2_winter.mos that holds the proper .dds files does not get activated.

Hi, Its possible that it could be a batch file that isn't calling it up in conjunction with WM 4.7 or the airfield dds file is a new one in eto1.5 and so was not worked over by VB7? I do remember a few months ago messing around with an old eto1.4 with VB7 installed and then upgrading it to eto1.5 and then trying to fix certain scenery files using the install/uninstall batch files. Best of luck with it.

The airbase_single_2_winter.mos lists these dds files,

and the airbase_single_2.mos lists these dds files,

The a_square.dds file is totally white.

Both mos files are from the assets folder eto1.5 but without vb7 installed.

htpcorsica; have you tried installing vb7 in ETO1.5?
in eto1.4 how dos the winter airbase_single_2 look?
Does it also have this anomaly?

Unfortunately I uninstalled vb7 from Eto 1.4 a couple of months ago when I was trying to install eto1.5 so I can't tell you!
I have just checked airbase_single_3_winter.mos and the dds files used are fewer so just maybe the airbase_single_2_winter.mos needs adjusting.

edit just looked at the vb7 installation files (7z) and the assets/mos folder doesnt have airbase_single_2_winter.mos in it so may be vb7 has not catered for it?

Redone the airbase_single_2_winter.mos mos.7z

Nice one but I think you need to change one more of your dds entries single 1 to single 2 in the alphas bit under dirt entry to make it even better!

It works well in ETO 1.5 and will change the scenery according to mission dates.

Ok, so you fixed it yourself . I didn't look at the forum, so I've also edited the mos file.

I've only tested it in hard winter and it looked ok to me now.
