In this folder you will find a repaint for FSX Boeing model 367 / C-97 Stratofreighter / Stratotanker. By Roland Berger (testing), Manfred Jahn (models, textures, Monitor gauge), Dan McManus (technical research, VC and panel textures, crew calls) Wayne Tudor (Flight Data Envelope), Ted Wolfgang (soundset). Interior model adapted from Greg Pepper's original FS2002.

This repaint has been created and tested for FSX acceleration for the FSX Boeing C-97 V.1 Beta Basepack.

It represents one of the three Stratotankers operated by the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire EdA) from 1972 to 1976. In particular, the Boeing KC-97L Stratofreighter (TK.1-3 / 123-03). Although the 3D model is for a KC97G and some small details don´t match. Faded USAF titles were visible on the real thing if you look closely. Don´t think it is a mistake of mine!

These aircraft used to fly using "MAMBO" as their callsign out of Torrejón airbase LETO.I hope you enjoy it! Buenos vuelos y no le busques tres pies....
