I don't have this aircraft but just wanted to say excellent work on the repaints... they are awesome!

I'll bump this thread when I release the skins. I'm working on the last details for the cockpit upgrade. Almost done.

All of the skins will be available on this site.

I had quite a few plates in the air which took time away from the work on the Heron.

I've got the entire retractable gear group updated and ready to upload. I'll start that in the AM.
In addition to the existing liveries, I've created six additional paint ready skins. There are subtle differences in each skin so your paints should be quite unique.

Polished Aluminum
Service Aluminum

Polished Two Tone
Service Two Tone

Painted Silver
Silver and White Two Tone

For those who do not want to use my modified skins, I'll zip up a generic bump, spec pak for the existing skins.

There will be a PK in Photoshop Layers for the serious skinners.

I thought you would like some happy snaps of the cockpit mods while I get the zip files ready for upload.

I've spent the last two years immersing myself in scenery design.

Preview: P3Dv2.5 shot of the Heron in a very Heron like setting. We're coming very close to the point of being able to experience virtual reality in the sim.

Scenery WIP. Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, California.

Excellent stuff Gman. Not long now . Cheers.

My problem with Flight Replicas in the vc is the consistancy of their textures, in both Me109 and Heron . Something like the joy/control stick becomes hard to see as the textures from the background panel and stick tend to merge together - I have trouble distinguishing one thing from another as surfaces blend in to one another .

This has improved a bit with P3Dv4 (about to download v5 at the end of this week) and shadows . My sim looks ok on all other things and is set up"normally" .

Well....unfortunately gentlemen, I've had precisely zero response from admin on my request to look at my upload glitch. I've exhausted my options, and patience, in repeated attempts to get these skins posted to this site.

I've put over 150 hours into this work, which I was hoping to share with this community. Over the last two or three years, I've supported this site financially and contributed many hundreds of hours of my time to the SOH community. Pro Bono.

Had I posted a politically unsavory topic, admin would have descended upon the transgression within seconds of the post. When I ask for help or response in kind for my contributions, my inquires remain moot.

I am compelled to apologize to those who were looking forward to these Heron paints. Sorry to disappoint you gentlemen, and ladies. Perhaps if you PM me, we can make other arrangements.
