    Another Hotfix!

    Brings 2.5.12942.0 & 2.5.12943.0 to 2.5.12944.0.

The Hotfix addresses the following issues only:

    • Incorrectly shadowed 3D waves with Bathymetry enabled
    • Sun glare with HDR enabled
    • SimDirector GamePad missing entry crash
    • Dull night lights in virtual cockpit and panels

I appreciate LM keeping the updates current and all, but for some utilities it really is a killer. Instant Scenery3 was about to release the update for that Utility to match V2.5. . .then a hotfix is released. . .IS3 Delayed. . . .now another Hotfix so IS3 Delayed even further. Enough already! I won't be updating with this hotfix as it doesn't relate to anything I am concerned with.

Due to various ailments, I've lagged behind the P3D bandwagon for the past year. I'm still on v2.2!

Some thing about "full re-installs recommended" bothers me, since I'm a scenery nut and psuedo-developer. And I see the threads about compatibility problems with add-ons, etc.

But I thought that when v2.5 was released I might take the time to remove and re-install. Then the hot-fix(s) keep popping up.

Then, I see the guy at Avsim (Rob) mention he's looking forward to v3 "in the near future!"

At this point, my wager is that I'll hold off for a while and enjoy v2.2.

I have delayed buying IS3, as am waiting for it to become compatible with P3DV2.5. So annoying! NC

Agreed. Bad enough that every update causes IS3 to go bonkers, but now we have Hotfixes that do the same thing. Grrrr!

Guys, stop moaning & appreciate that is being done to make P3D better.
You moan when nothing happens & bleat when they do!

Thanks, LM, for the on-going updates. I, for one, really appreciate the work done.

No offense sir, but I'll moan whenever I want to, and praise when I think it's warranted. That's the beauty of having a personal opinion. . .it's mine and no one else has to agree or like it.
