Question about ship modeling (Forrestal Class)

I am currently working on bringing the Forrestal Class of aircraft carriers to FSX. I spent this weekend fixing texture bleeds and fixing a lot of geometry in the models. I wanted to add the cranes and tractors on the deck to bring a little life to the ships' decks.

Is there a link to a tutorial on how to add the tractors and cranes to the deck of the ship? Or do I have to model them myself?

    Thanks

Modeling them yourself seems to be the way.

You can model them on deck and then export the "statics" as a separate model, to give the user control if the wants them to appear or not.

I vaguely recall in the SDK it says it is possible to attach library objects via an attachpoint which makes life easier if what you want is in the library. If you have a read through the SDK it should give you some pointers.

I found it in the SDK (dunno why I did not think to look there, DERP!)

    Thank you Skippy.
