    Interesting developments with IL2

Seems there is a concerted effort to amalgamate a whole bunch of stuff into one simple (?) install. And the release appears to be near completion. I stumbled across this purely by accident as I haven't tried IL2 on my PC in years, so I apologise if this is common knowledge.

Interesting developments indeed! I had upgraded to version 4.10, then quit messing with combat sims, so it has been a long time since I have looked at the third-party developments.
My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
