    Exclamation The clock is ticking...!

Hey gents, and any ladies in the house...

I just perused the donation drive rolls at SOH, and took a great deal of solace and pride knowing that many of us here in "the basement" have already contributed to the annual donation drive.

For those who have not donated yet, please consider it. It does not have to be a large amount, but there is an expression that I often use that fits this type of an effort. "Many hands make light work." The wider the breadth of those who donate, the lighter the load we all have to carry to get us over the hump.

    Hey guys,

The time is getting close...the bill is due in less thank three weeks. At the beginning of February, I will make another donation, let's see some of the newer members jump in. It doesn't have to be a large donation, every little bit helps!

It really did take some time this year to start the goal percentage counter rising, but finally something is happening. I already donated, but if it keeps getting in so slowly, I'll donate again when my paycheck arrives. Please help keeping this wonderful site alive and kickin' boys and girls.

Hello! For me for years has been impossible contribute , because my country imposes me taxes. If I wanted to donate just 5 or 10 dollars I have to pay 100 in taxes for sending money abroad. My visa is only ATM debit but I have no security in sending codes and numbers. Paypal has no offices for delivery of money here.

The other way would be to have a rechargeable card, but have a significant annual cost for an annual donation only.

Today i went to the bank to ask a solution , they promess next year will be a paypal online link between bank, VISA and PAYPAL without taxes.

    Sorry,

Thank u to all members that donate for me!

    Cheers,

    Mario

    Hi,

I made sure to make another donation this morning. We're getting close to the minimum needed, and are exploring some options for next year. If you are new to CFS2 or SOH and can contribute to the pot, please consider doing so.

    Finn,

No problem, but this is more aimed at newer members and others who have not contributed yet. Not Misson, his circumstances are documented.

    Tick...Tick... Tick....

I just fed the kitty again.

If everybody who buys payware addons would just kick in a tenner, we would be home, free and clear.

We all stand to lose a lot on this, including the FREE addons, the tutoring, the advance news, and a place to brag/lament/ gripe/and generally rant/rave/etc. How many other forums have such an active Combat Flight Sim population?

C'mon fellas, we're under the gun here.

Yup. I agree! I am just a user. Not a designer of A/C, missions or scenery. Not smart enough.
I donate every year and am happy to.
Love this sim and all it provides for one of my pastimes.
Lets keep her up and running.

That's about the same for me... I don't know if this is due to my country laws or simply because of my bank, but each time I want to pay on a US website using USD, I have to pay 2 or 3 times the price in taxes. I bought a gift for my wife last year on a US website, and this is what happened.

I'm really sorry, and I would like to thank all you guys who keep SOH alive.

Sending cash by mail is prohibited here, and even if I chose this solution I wouldn't be confident about the actual delivery. That being said, I don't have USD cash, and I'm sure my bank will make a profit on the exchange, even on a small amount...

BTW, if needed I could consider this solution.

I dont know if u are referring to Roxane only but here there isnt Pay pal office to load the money personally. And that link seems to talk about charges for sending money , i think would be the same for here, but taxes is other bussines.

To send money by mail? Here is against the law (because we should to pay the taxes first). I can break it but I dont want to do it ,sorry.
    Cheers

I'm a little late this year, but I finally sent my contribution.
