I'm up and just flying around for fun.

Let me know when you guys are beginning your descent into BGBW, I'll pick up the baton and advance it while you get your rest.

I don't know how to do the flight log, but picking it up as soon as I sign off here and get FS2004 fired up.

I assume you are running the Duenna software as it is required.

After a safe landing and coming to a stop, the flight log comes up.

At the bottom of that log, there are two links listed, one for teh jpg picture and one for the flight log itself.

After you post a safe landing, and baton is free, edit the post to add attachments.
Copy paste each of those two links into the two Add Files slots and upload, Done, then post.

Here is what the bottom of teh Duenna log looks like with the links I have highlighted:

    Tracking-URL: (Flight-ID: cXSKtdotedfDTt4BdUHKqfoNjBs)
    http://fs-duenna.com/flights/ShowFli...t4BdUHKqfoNjBs

(just copy the above path+files into your forum-attachment field.)

    Milton,
Glad this is practice....No, I just now downloaded it and will have to turn around and head back to restart the flight with it running.

I am in a Vought A-7E with drop tanks.

Couldn't find an F4U or P-38 for FS9 with drop tanks.

    Hi Devildog73

The official race website has got a list of race eligible aircraft here: http://www.fsrtwrace.com/whitelist.php

The DCC P-38 and the ABC F4-U are both good race aircraft, and are listed on that page.

What is the required FDE for the ABC F4-U?

I have all of the aircraft listed in the "free" category and a couple FDG's in the pay category.

I am also retired so I have lots of free time on my hands.

I don't fly it myself, but I would guess that the required fix is this one: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloa...nch-f4u-7-fix/

    Ah,
Good the newest download of it has that fix included.

Just not sure of the range on the F4U7.

It appears to me the F4U1 had the greatest range, enough to make the 750nm limit and a go around or two on landing.

I now have it installed and it connects, so tomorrow I will fly a leg for practice.

I also have the F7F which looks like one of the best for this race on the limited legs it can be used, if I am reading the rules correctly.
