Well it was fun but the baton is back to 42VA

Night landing in an unfamiliar harbour is always risky.

Baton free at CYQI. Plenty of fuel this time. First crappy weather flight. Snow, wind, no visibility till about 100ft above the ground. Good thing this airport had lights.

I have a couple of errands and meetings this afternoon, but will pick it up from you and fly to Gander with it.

If nobody else picks it up there I will fly it on to Greenland, Iceland or Ireland tonight.

Thanks for the update. My weather engine is also telling me winds calm, 0.1sm visibility!

    ETA 25 mins

460 knots ground speed in a Tigercat (thanks to 80 knot tail wind)

    Baton is free at CYQX.

Not my best instrument approach, but I found a runway in the fog eventually.
