After my gear up landing we learned that the repairs would take more than a month to complete, Bad new, well anyway, Western had a Convair 240 setting on the ramp which needed to be returned to KSLC, in essence, we made a deal with the boss and now we will be flying the 240 hopefully, for the remaining flights of Flying the line.

    Appreciate that Rob!

I'll have to make adjustments for that schedule .... I'm usually snoring by 2030 EST ...

    Chatbox works fine for me.

Let's see ..... stop at Rite-Aid for some no-doz (or something) on the way home from work and then head over to CalClassic to pick up a new Propliner.

Maybe I'll catch yuz guys one night.

    Thanks,

    "Viva Lost Wages!"

We took off from Junction and headed west to Vegas. Nice flight although I had some issues at the start and had to go like heck to catch up to the others. (Note: Always take off into the wind with a C-46) Anyway it looks like we're going to spend the night in Vegas. I've got a couple of rolls of quarters and am headed for the slots somewheres around here.

Oh yeah, we did do a little low altitude, high speed sightseeing down the strip as we got into town. Had to see what and who were showing there before we head into town...

    Hey there folks!

It was a great flight from Junction to Henderson (Las Vegas) as we entered Nevada Old Dudley and I dropped down in order to buzz a friends summer home in Mesquite (67L). I think from doing this we maybe in deep poopie, well anyway, sure isn't the first time.

We didn't fly as low as Willy did, but for us low enough. Now it will be off to Tuba City, Az. and Hopi Indian country. Maybe be able to pickup a Karchina and some pots.

A few pics from our escape from Vegas. A couple of times I was low enough that I should have got a ticket for running a red light.

Nice flight from Tucson to Truth Or Consequences. Judging by the aircraft on the ground at ToC, we must be getting near Hobbs...
