    REX4 Texture Direct SP4 released

See post here in REX forums:

    http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com...ck-4-released/

For those not having access these are the fixes included (mainly for P3D v2.4):

1.) Updated DX11 Sun textures for support of Prepar3D v2.4
2.) Updated DX11 Wave Animation Textures for support of Prepar3d v2.4
3.) Included fix to make static wave animations for Prepar3D v2.4 to become animated.
4.) My Themes and Community Themes show texture names installed or to be installed.

I am particularly looking forward to try the new wave animations.

Thanks Dimus for the HU on this REX update . I have been waiting on this but have not checked the updates for quite awhile . Looks like some excellent changes , especially if you fly P3D v2.4 as I do . I'll have to check the wave animations as P3D V2.4 woefully lacks in this category .

    Installed and happy!

The REX bug where the reflections were detached from the objects is addressed and the animation I first tried (white caps) is clear to a large distance and does not get fuzzy like before. I also like the new sun textures. Lots of options to try yet. Unfortunately I can not yet use Shadowplay or FRAPS to post a video of the animation but here are just a few pics:

I downloaded and installed it, quite pleasing. Didn't check all the new features yet, but the water textures are great. Expecially the reflections against the sun are very realistic and detailed.
The downsized image below does not show all the details, and of course not the motion, but I like the pattern of the sea in the distance, which suggest currents or water of different temperature. Looks very realistic to me!
