Impressive! Love the cockpit sound ambience. Tyis is freeware right?

Btw, are you using a higher global text res setting than 1024? Do you also set cloud texture to higher than default?

    Beautiful model, paint and scenery!
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Awesome. I was lucky enough to once see this airplane IRL at LaGuardia airport in NY. I was on a commercial flight and looked out the window while taxiing and there she was! Only an FS nerd would get excited about it. :-)

Milton's model is in the library. In Search text box type: Howard 500, then click exact phrase. Look for the "Howard 500 with fix.zip", then add the N500HP repaint for FSX. File size 61.75Mb. Should be the last entry in the library.

The scenery is by FranceVFR Corsica HD Photographic with LOD_RADIUS=8.500000 and clouds REX 4 set to 512 resolution. I like the softer look of clouds not super sharp ones at higher resolutions.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!!!!

Say Ted, flying your wonderful textures in DX10, all of the windows are very dark. Is there a texture file to address this?

    thx

I suspect the glass_t.bmp files alpha needs to be altered. The version I fly doesn't work in DX10 (white aircraft). It seems it could go either no glass or to dark.

Good info here. Shows the various glass issue in DX10. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/424509-...h-steve-fixer/

I'm on holiday for the rest of the year. My netbook doesn't run FSX.
