Do not have the baton but rather a whole boatload (325 lbs) of Kobe Steak, Maine Lobster, 20 yr old Scotch & dry ice to keep it at temp while in the middle latitudes. The reason? As penalty for not knowing how to do simple math to convert zulu time to local. Made the mistake many weeks ago and never checked it. Even put it in the MS Office calendar & suite so it would remind me...... Of the wrong time. Due to crappy a__ planning I must take off now. :-( ( Will definitely hear you on TS)
This is my official start - Departing Mildenhall for places unknown eastward.
What a way to start! Reminiscent of the Cape to Cape. Put a boat load of time in practicing nearly flawlessly. Then... On the first leg crash. The rubber didn't even get to taste the ground, but rather it tastes the metal that protects it from the elements. ( A hanger )

Nice fast aircraft. Looks like you are leading the way.
Made it to Allahabad .. The 1st part was completely featureless.. Winds were good, a few clouds here and there. Going to stop for some Vindaloo, a trip to the head and a refuel. Then upward.

Are you absolutely sure you want a vindaloo before embarking on a long flight in an aircraft without the facilities to handle the aftermath??!

The Spartan is one of my favorites. It was right behind the Gee Bee on the short list of what I was wanting to fly to Melbourne in.
Good show so far Roman!
Let Being Helpful Be More Important Than Being Right.
Made it to Seletar. (WSSL) Pretty uneventful except for the moderate to heavy chop (need to clean the cockpit ) right when the sun was rising & the inevitable haze (visibility) in major towns of Singapore.
