Avro Anson N9742 from No 321 (Dutch) Squadron

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Skins

Description: This file contains alternative textures for the payware FSAddon Avro Anson package. This repaint is actually an edit of Simon Smeiman's original texture.

This repaint depicts the Avro Anson N9742 from No 321 (Dutch) squadron RAF. No. 321 (Dutch) Squadron RAF was a unit of the Royal Air Force during World War II formed from the personnel of the Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service. Formed on 1 June 1940 at Pembroke Dock, the squadron moved to RAF Carew Cheriton on 28 July 1940 and became operational. The squadron flew coastal and anti-submarine patrols with Avro Anson's. During an operational convoy protection patrol on 29th Noverber 1940 Sergeant Pilot C.I van Kooij and his crew was forced to ditch in the sea off Holyhead, Anglesey, due to an engine failure.
This aircraft has been the subject of a very long-running Airfix model kit.

    Enjoy,
    Huub

Huub, very nice paint job, downloaded it already. What are you using for FSX water? H2O in the screen shot looks very realistic.
