    Rafale

    I got a bit fed up with the "Thor's Hammer" Rafale M not having a reasonable VC. The default FA-18 gives an annoying red light under the cockpit in external view.

    The replacement I've 'shoehorned-in' is from Roland Laborie's "Wasp 1B" - available at the Simmarket.

    It matches very well, and there are no nasty surprises externally.
    I believe this breathes new life into the model, especially as Roland's Rafale and Mirage 2000C are no longer available.

    What do you think?

    No, but it's very easy. Four switches and one button.

    It looks right at home in there. Nice job.

    It's not an exact fit - note the fire indicators - but it's the best I've seen so far.

    Thanks for reminding me how nice this aircraft is...
    Downloaded it from here: http://www.mirage4fs.com/rafale_all.html#Bruno1
    Click on the blue(Instructions) in the box you downloaded the aircraft from to show you how to merge the F-18 VC into this aircraft- Thanks Ferry_v0!

    Used the fix posted by DaveWG from his post #40: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...er-1st-!/page2
    "My own solution was to open the FA-18_Interior.mdl in notepad++ (not MS notepad) and search for fx_navred. I changed that to read fx_navrep and saved. No more floating red navlight & all the other lights work as they should."

    Using Notepad++ from here(free): http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

    Using that fix the red light is GONE!

    Thanks again everyone and DaveWG & Ferry_v0!
