    Engine sound problem

What could be wrong with my install of cfs3,engine sounds start to respond when throttle is about 50%?

It's not unknown for CFS3 to need a quick 'blip' of the throttle to 100% and back down again before it responds properly. Also check your throttle's calibration in the joystick calibration thingy.

Which aircraft? What have you installed: ETO, PTO, nothing?

    Hi hamis,

in the options settings theres sliders for 4 or 5 differant sound items. one of them is aircraft engines, have you checked to see if any of the sliders are set low?

I don't see anything terribly abnormal, though most CFS3 aircraft don't model very low power settings very well. If you want to change it, there are various add on sounds available in the download section here. Also sound sets for any other the other MS flight sims will work in CFS3. If you still want to tweak things, follow the directions in the last post of this thread. http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...dge-base/page3

    Hope that helps.
