I was delighted when Rob asked me to take a look at the 310B version he has in the works. I fly his "Q" model on a regular basis and so the chance to fly the iconic 310B "Songbird" was a must. Remember these are WIP shots and I'm not the screenshot artist that others are so these are pretty plain vanilla but at least you can get a feel for what it looks like inside and out.
Thus far, performance-wise it seems to be very close to the numbers with a cruise speed around 175@6000', landing with one notch of flaps and airspeed at 90 or a tad less and it settles down nicely. Great acceleration on take off and climb rate is pretty respectable. Nice engine sounds and pretty docile for hand flying once in the pattern for landing. I like it a lot!!
