Belgian Air Force Days 2014.

Popped over the border to the south yesterday to visit the 'Kleine Brogel' air force base for the second day of their show. The program was much more interesting than our Dutch shows but sadly got messed up by a layer of fog in the early hours. After a two hour delay the show started but some displays were cancelled. We still had big display teams (Red Arrows, Patrouille de France, Frecce Triccolori, PC-7 Team, Breitling Team and Al Fursani), and solo displays by F-16's (Greek, Turkish, Belgium and Dutch!), MiG-29 and Rafale.

And finally, at the end of the day the Al Fursan team from the United Arab Emirates performed! First time these guys are in Europe so quite a special display, made even more special by the setting sun and the copious amount of coloured smoke:
