Mods or FSX updates for the old AS B-58?

I recently reinstalled this old payware alphasim B-58 into FSX. It flies ok and I did some minor mods like adding thumbnails, etc. but I wonder if anyone has done any serious tweaking to the B-58 to improve flyability in FSX? This was one of my very favorite FS9 aircraft.

You would be better off getting the FSX version. Its a great addition to my hanger, and fly it often.

    You can buy it here:

I would also recommend picking up TeamSDB's Bunker Hill AFB, as it comes with AI B-58's

Thanks. I appreciate knowing about that new version. 32.95 seems steep though for what appears to be exactly the same bird with an updated model.

Textures are updated, but the VC is pretty much the same with minor texture enhancements. You'll also get some cool additional versions and a nice sound set. The burners have been fixed in the last update. Yes, $32 bucks is still on the high side, but it's the best one out there for this cold war classic. These screen shots are representative of the product.

It's worth the money for such an iconic aircraft [every 'home' should have one]...
...and the 'real one' cost its weight in gold to develop....so 30-odd is a steal...
Just about every aircraft built has been painted by people...but there's a few details in the old skins that won't port over to the new model without a little fiddling...

This is the FSX version, no edits to the screen shots. The repaint is available here at SOH. The VC is a little dated, but it's still a great aircraft, and worth supporting CenturySeries in developing further!

    Weathered VC

I also started to give the VC a more worn-out look, its available with the polished Snoopy paint here at SOH.

The model has actually been considerably overhauled, with most parts being modified or remade, it has a 2048 texture set, 3D smooth modelled VC gauges and is more detailed than its predecessor, plus the extra bonus snoopy version, bump maps, spec maps and DX10 compatibility.

I thought $32 was lower than it ought to be given the amount of work I did to reconfigure the model for FSX but you never break even against the hours put into FS aircraft modelling, I know that!
