I'm going to try to get all of the bombs in game today.

    Attachment 11671

Above is the Army (black) and Navy (gray) 15kg fragment. I can't find any thinmg that say the IJN used 15kg frags but I did paint one up in navy colors just in case.

    Attachment 11681

800kg GPs. I think I will have to make the nose a point on the larger bombs as they are now dosn't quite look right.

Clears up the Army paint for the 15kg fragment.
Flak will work. just set it to 300m or more away. Oh and set round weight to zero. otherwise you will be off balance.

Can you look and see if there is a good range of armor piercing bombs? I seen the pic of the 100kg but no size in the pic. Maybe in the Navy part there is 3 or 4 armor piercing bombs?

    Ordnance, Japanese Navy

Will do, There are several IJNAF AP bombs in various sizes, plus I found another reference, a US Navy NAVTEC publication on Japanese bombs. Not so hot on dimensions, but nice line drawings. I'll start posting them tomorrow, after I've sorted through them. There are twice as many pages of Navy bombs as Army so I'm just going to post the ones you need. 250KG to 800KG AP, right?

Any of the naval AP bombs. My guess is that they start at 100kg and up.

Here's a few to start with. I'll look for the 250kg and smaller now. The streamlined bombs are probably semi-armor piercing as they have more explosive filler than AP bombs, but not as much as the regular bombs. The streamlined bombs are also tagged as "Anti-shipping".

This about wraps it for Navy AP and Anti-shipping stuff. Anything else you need? BTW, IJNAF didn't seem to have AP bombs under 250kg, at least not according to what I've seen in the manuals. The 250kg bombs are probably Anti-shipping bombs, or that's what they look like.

I couldn't find any AP bombs under 500KG for the Navy. I suspect they only used those on capital ships, everything else they used SAP (Streamlined) bombs for.
