A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Skins

Description: In 1946 and 1947 the newly established Norwegian airline Braathens South American & Far East Airtransport A.S. purchased for its medium- and longhaul operations on charter basis four ex-USAAF Douglas C-54A Skymasters. Three of them had been converted to DC-4 standard by Texas Maintenance Company (Temco) at Fort Worth, Texas, and featured on the starboard side an enlarged emergency exit. The fourth C-54A was purchased from KLM. Around 1950 the Norwegian authorities concluded that Braathens' operations got increasingly a structural character, read: scheduled, operations and as such became a threat for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) which was a conglomerate of "state" airlines of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. SAS received all concessions for the international scheduled routes, which meant the end of the use of the Temco converted C-54A's. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
