    Super job!!!

If you go on Wing palette (Russien site http://wp.scn.ru/camms/ ), you'll find more repaints for the Caproni family, with lots ef exotic countries like France, Bulgaria, USSR and Sweden.

When do you intend to upload these nice textures?

    Hello Francois

I am feeding them to Peperez as I complete them, I am also currently helping to beta testing airfiles & dp mods so that there will be a "complete" package for each aircraft - & of course you can never have too many repaints!

One more teaser for now - an early WIP of a French Ca313 ... Swedish version to follow.

    UncleTgt,

Norwegians and Spaniards and Italians, oh my! Great work on these; it's often surprising how many nations used Italian aircraft in their Air Forces.

    Outstanding work!!!

Where can these treasures be found? I have been travelling away in
Germany and have not kept up... The model seems equally crisp and detailed.
Pepe and Uncle Tgt... you are doing a fantastic job!!!

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - Italian

Description: Model, grey textures, panel bitmap, Vcockpit and aircraft files by F. Giuli with FSDS V.3.

    Textures by Uncle TGT

CFS2 airfile, aircraft.cfg and panel modification Peperez (Pepe Rezende). DP by Peperez (Pepe Rezende) and Uncle TGT. Effects by Kelticheart. The Caproni-Begamaschi Ca.310 Libeccio (Italian: southwest wind) was an Italian monoplane, low wing, twin-engine reconnaissance aircraft used in World War II. Derived from the similar Ca.309, it flew in April 1937, had its combat debut during the Spanish Civil War and took part in the earlier phases of World War II in Libya. In all, 312 units were built.

WOW!! And the Norwegian 310 as well. Thanks ! In Norway this aircraft was known as the "Klippfish" airplane (bacalao), because it was paid for with money from export of Norwegian bacalao to Italy. We baught 4 aircraft in 1938, but they had little impact during the german invasion. One aircraft managed to escape during the occupation of Sola airbase, but had to be left on a lake short after. It was raised in 1981 and is currently under reconstruction. In 1939 Norway actually baught the lincense to build 10 310's. The first 5 was started at Kjeller in 1940, the airbase where the heavy F16 maintenance (and my work) is today. The rest is of course history. Ther's no traces of these examples.

Here, in a few days. Today, I'll upload the Ca.311 and C.313 planes. Tomorrow, I'll upload the Ca.314. Thanks to Uncle TGT, I discovered a joystick malfunction at my equipment. So, I decided to proceed slowly with my work, allways checking the performance with Uncle TGT.

    Cheers

Many thanks to Giuli, Pepe and Uncle Tgt!

I noticed that, finally, FGiuli uploaded a much needed, long awaited Fiat BR.20 version for FS9.....

    Uncle Tgt:

Please allow me a comment on a tiny detail in the otherwise perfect Regia Aeronautica repaint: shouldn't the white cross on the rudder/vertical fin bear the Savoia Royal Seal in its centre as shown below?

    Cheers!

    Hey my friend,

I knew you wouldn't do anything if not supported by proper documentation! So I learned something new, not all of Regia Aeronautica aircrafts sported the Savoia royal seal in the middle of the white cross. Thanks!

By the way, that is not the specific Savoia coat of arms, because it displays two fascist symbols on both sides. The Savoia royal family coat of arms is the shield in the center with a white cross on a red field, framed in blue with a gold crown on top. It can be seen in pre-republican Italian flags, from 1863 to 1948, placed in the middle white band. Therefore, even the plain white cross on the rudder/vertical fin represents the then Savoia king of Italy.

Italians voted to become a democratic republic in 1948, the hated Savoia symbol was removed from the Italian flag. When I first visited Little Italy in N.Y., I saw many old Italian kingdom flags around instead of the Republican ones. I figured in Little Italy lived a lot of nostalgic people, such flag would rise more than an eyebrow here.

    Cheers!

    Hi Friends,
I made a repaint for the '310 in the livery used for the London/Capetown record 1938 attempt (failed, unfortunately the plane crashed after two days). The original plane has no turret and wings MGs and had a "solid" shorter nose. I used the Giuli's military version hoping in a future civil version......
