Bugatti 100 racer (1939!!), I have read an article about it a few years ago where some guys wanted to resurrect the design. Great and radical looking aircraft.
[Edit: found it again. The Bugatti 100P racer replica is supposed to fly in mid october this year for the first time!]

Another 1939 prototype. I took a shot of an unusual aircraft in the Le Bourget Air and Space Museum, Paris.
So here's my proposal (an easy one for our french friends, I suppose):

    The Leduc 010 ramjet prototype.

I recently read an article about these ones. There were several tested, launched from piggiback arrangements:

    Exactly! That was fast.

Here's another shot of the hall with the 010. Amazing design, way ahead if it's time. The other aircraft in the back was even more radical.

    This is the VZ-2.
Anyone notice the NASA logo, and the ARMY and Navy on the wings and tail.

Its full name is Vertol VZ-7, their were only a couple of them built while operated by Vertol.
When boeing bought Vertol, they made some modifications and resumed testing.
My friends VZ-7 is 1 of only 2 remaining.
According to Boeing records their was 1 made, Vertol records show 3 made, 2 crashed in testing and suffered heavy structural damage, and were used for parts.

YEs but I hoped that it isnt that obvious in Black&White. That as it was made by Mathias & team and costed us a serious research.

I was impressed when you included that paint in the package so I looked it up then. I must admit I did buy the 190 pack though as I would not fly it much. I do have the excellent 108 though and enjoy it often.

Your research and attention to detail is amazing!

Beat me to it Dimus, and it's a favourite model for me – tricky enough to land/takeoff and heaps of performance. Fun!
