That is awesome! A friend and I modeled one of those for an online sim. It definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves as a fighter. I'm so happy to be getting one of these for flight sim. WTG Vertigo Studios!

How cool is that! Always nice to learn of someone developing a WWII Japanese aircraft for flight sim, as they are so rarely done. That design strikes me right away as having too little tail surface for that engine! I'd imagine it was a squirly-bugger on take-offs and landings.

(Still really looking forward to those Mitchells!)

I just wish VS would patch the Stearman starting and engine sound looping bugs. Then I might be a little more enthusiastic about any new offerings from them.

    Where was the announcement?
Last communication in the forum was about two years ago.

    This is from the Admin.
The TOJO's external is coming along nicely and isnt to far off being completed. The KI84 is indeed a fine aircraft also.

    Still waiting for the DC3

This company has lots of announcements of new aircraft, but not much in the way of releases

My favourite Japanese fighter. Such a departure from early Japanese fighter concepts, the Army Type 2 Single-Seat Fighter was quite a novelty in concept and performance.

Had it been produced in greater numbers, it would have proven a far more effective fighter than the Army Type 1 Single-Seat Fighter. It compared favourably with mid-war US and RAF fighters.
