Thread: FSX native Fokker D XXI RELEASED

Nice! I think however that the text below the horizontal stabiliser was only on the Dutch D.21s. This 3D model isn't the Finnish version by the way, but there are only minor differences.

Can you send me the paints please? It's so special to see my baby in different clothing

DaveB: thanks a lot for this comment. Indeed, no one of us did remark. It is a LOD issue, the LODs of both versions appear to be the same. Of course, this is in the .mdl so there's no workaround for users, I'm sorry. I'll note it, thank you.
No problem at all Daan.. thanks for a lovely model

Very fine paintings ZSolt! Is there any site where one can download them. I don't see them here on SOH.

I've loved this aircraft ever since I built the 1/72nd scale model when I was a kid...

    GREAT JOB!

Sorry I am late to comment on this absolutely WONDERFUL model! Thank you Dutchcheeseblend for doing this model. I remember getting a WW2 European Aircraft book back at Christmas of 1980 which had both the D-XXI and D.XXIII listed in it. I thought both models were very interesting and now more so to fly & see the D-XXI in FSX. I am going to add this model to my FSX video list & hopefully get it done before long.

    Thank you again!

Took in some fuel at EHEH. And I see they need a concrete floor!

Well Cees, it appears my baby is back to its roots! The very first flight of the D.21 took place from Welschap.

    Hi Daan,

That's right, I'm reading the book by Peter de Jong........

Learning a lot about scenerybuilding for FSX and putting it to use.

Nice book uh! It was my starting point, almost 2 years ago...

I'm eager to try out some scenery of you, as soon as I'll plan my first flight of the T.5!

Let me know when that will be Daan. There's still about a week of work to do on Schiphol, some days on Eindhoven. Bergen and De Kooy are nearly completed. Soesterberg is still a lot of work.

I hope to finish rudimentary animation phase this holiday, and start texturing. So with base materials, I could do a first flight at the end of the holiday

    Too soon Cees?

For the D.21, TP integration is underway. Made my first kill with the D.21, yeah!
