Question about the Flying Stations Sea Fury

Small question to those who own the Sea Fury: did you notice any performance hit in P3Dv2.2 when using that plane ?

On my side, each time I try to use it, I see my FPS slowly decrease from 30 down to 15, progressively. It takes a few minutes. Then the sim would eventually crash when I try to change the aircraft...
I believe the problem might be linked to the load manager and the weapons.... or maybe just the weapons.
The rocket don't work. They do appear on my wings, I can fire them, but they just dissapear.

For the context, it's important to say that I have moved the SeaFury folder from FSX to P3D. I might have forgotten some folders in that process ? Are the rocket linked to other elements that should be transfered as well ?

After some very short investigations, it appeared I had forgotten to transfer some files to P3D, as I expected
In my case, I forgot to move the various folders from the FSX\Simobjects\Misc folder. The folders for the weapons.
After copying them into P3D, the rockets started flying away from my plane, as they should
Concerning the FPS hit, that seems to be partly gone. I still have a small impact, but more stable this time, and no crashes.

    Daube,

While the RTWR was getting ready to kick off I was asking Skippy Bing about the FDE for the Sea Fury, as the Race Committee deemed it unusable in it's current state (too fast at Sea Level based on current data). He redid the FDE to correct that and I can send you that if you don't already have it.

I think you may need to copy over some effect and sound files as well, I can't remember off the top of my head what they are although all the effects will start with flyingstations. You should be able to just point the installer at P3D and install it over the top of the files you've copied over.

    Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for the informations. Indeed I went back to scan my whole FSX folder to see if I could spot anything related to the Sea Fury that would have been forgotten in the transfer to P3D.
The gauges were all there already, just like the sounds and effects. It looks like I had only forgotten about the weapons models in the "SimObjects\Misc" folder.
I could enjoy flying the Sea Fury around Bowerman and firing a few rockets around

@Falcon: yes, while searching on the Flying Stations forums, I found that conversation you had about the RTWR and the maximum speed of the Sea Fury. Thank you (and thank you SkippyBing as well) for uploading that new FDE, I'm going to give it a try as soon as possible

One last question: When I fire some rockets, right after they explode on the ground, I can see to "lights" flying back at me from the impact point. It seems to be the same lights that are used by the rockets.
In one case, the lights kept there hanging still in the air.
Is it just a side effect to the rocket gauge, or is it a bug caused by something I did ?

Hmm, not sure to be honest, I haven't actually got round to firing rockets in P3D yet! I did occasionally notice in FSX the rockets, and bombs less often, would bounce. It may be that this is happening in P3D more often, although I still don't know why!

I just did a clean install of the sea fury into P3D, but I'm getting very bad fps, it gradually goes from the normal 30 to about 15. All the files should be in the correct folders.

    Any ideas/advice?

    Best regards
